Going through some of my "junk" recently, found a box of old black and white post-card size prints taken during my schooling years in Melbourne; Australia.
Ahh... those were some of the best days of my life :) And like the famous Kodak Eastman slogan, "We (pictures) capture your memories forever!"
This photo for instant...
A single shot taken with a film camera hidden inside a plastic lunch box, while I was attending our biology class in Oakleigh High School in Victoria, Australia; FORTY FIVE YEARS ago!
Confession is in order, as a student in 1968; I always admired how stunning our biology teacher, Mrs Dawson look! I would love to take some pictures of her but was too chicken to ask ;)
This picture was taken without her permission but without any other motive, I am very sorry I did that; Mrs Dawson. 45 years on, you are still as good looking as ever :)
They say- "Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the number of moments that take our breath away..." this was one of the moment :)
Among the pictures is a shot of me in the Oakleigh High School's class room, snapped by my classmate with my Pentax SV SLR camera.
Famous Last Words...
Every memory is precious. Whether it is a bad one or a good one, they overall shape us for who we are today. So don't let any of them go.

CY, there is nothing wrong in having a crush on the teacher as I remember while in fifth form, some of the graduate teacher were so young and beautiful and did not look like a teacher,haha...

CY, I bet you were always ready to help carry her books.
The women teachers in my school in Taiping were really plain compared to your Mrs Dawson.
Hmmm, I just noticed your shot was in 1968, not 1967.
(I failed fourth form arithmetic . . .)
Maybe you were a year behind me; if so, no wonder we were never in the same clas.
But I'm pretty sure that great photo of Mrs D. was in Veritas 1968.
Dear me, now I realise that when I dragged your photos onto my desktop, the filename was, and still is - Mrs+Dawson_1967.jpg
Um, did you pass fourth form arithmetic Cy?
Hi Peter! You make my day! I think I remember you, you were my senior; were you not one of the schol prefect? Ah, those were the great school days :) Drop me a mail please. cy.leow@gmail.com
Cheers - CY
I would not worry about your compliment on Mrs D. I am sure she is proud that so many of us fall all over her! ;)
This is the edited comments from Peter Doube..they are too interesting to delete ;)

Have mercy.
I had Mrs (Margaret) Dawson as my biology teacher at Oakleigh High School in 1967 too, but it was not the same class as yours, Cy; in fact I don't think you and I were ever in the same class as each other.
I was the only boy in her biology class that year - just little me and La Dawson, Lydia Chomenko, Marilyn Neil etc. etc.
Heaven.
She would only have been about 6 or 7 years older than us, and it wasn't just you; pretty well everyone was in love with her - male, female and undecided.
I think that photo of yours appeared in the school magazine, didn't it?
She taught me the cha cha in the school hall.
As well as that fine face, she had the charisma to go with it, a Cortina GT, an English accent more or less like Cilla Black.
I've no idea where she is.
Come back Margaret, we've forgotten how to cha cha.
It was a delight to find your photo.
There's just one thing though: Oakleigh High School some of the best days of your life? Really? What did you like about it? I thought it was dire. I do hope you've had better times than that since!
I guess you know it was demolished in favour of a housing estate - only the cha cha hall remains.

Just came across this post and thought I'd say Hi.....I dont remember Mrs Dawson although I was there....I certainly missed out didnt I.
Guten Tag, Herr Arnheim! Yes indeed, you did miss out. That's what you get for not paying attention in school, though I always thought you did pay attention - must have been bluffing.
(CY - hope you don't mind this corruption of your web page into a temporary feral Facebook.)
One Peter paying too much attention, another Peter; not! Ha ha ha... the plot thickens ;)
