My contact at Rasa Sayang Hotel, Penang tipped me that my favorite actor William Holden is in town!
I charged over to the beach hotel with a reporter and we managed to get an exclusive pictures and story not only of Holden and him with beautiful Stephanie Powers!
When Holden found out Tunku Abdul Rahman is the Chairman of The Star, he asked me to take him to meet him.
We took Holden to Tunku's chalet at Batu Ferringhi Beach and he met Malaysia's first Prime Minister.
After a long conversation together on wild life conservation, Tunku and Holden stood at the veranda and look at the sunset....
I recorded the moment with a Nikon F2 and a 105mm f2.5 lens. Kodak Tri-X film was used.

He was such a hunk!I didn`t realize you had actually met him and taken photos of him!He had such a prolific screen career and everyone of my generation knows who he is.Stephanie Powers was such a bombshell in her day too!I have a feeling they did a TV series together and that`s where they met.
Tunku Abdul Rahman is a familiar name too. I have strong recollections of hearing his name a lot on wireless when I was a young child. What an auspicious honour to be a country`s first prime minister.How interesting it would have been to be sitting in on a conversation between these two men,. I have yet to meet a Hollywood screen actor and a Prime minister yet. Maybe I will meet your hero , John,... one day.. or that truly great PM, Ms Clarke.
Thank you Heather! Key issue, my hero is not Johnny Come Lately ;) Ha ha ha... my number one HERO is my dear father where my greatest regret was not spending enough time with him :(
